Hi, my name is Demi Bezdigian. I study Accounting and Management Technology at Montmorency College, it's my second semester. This glossary will be explaining the definition of certain expressions related to my field of study. This will help the readers to find out more about business terms and definitions. My program provides students with a solid background in accounting/finance, marketing, human resources, computer applications, entrepreneurship, and general management studies. Students also become familiar with computerized accounting systems and taxation software. When you graduate, you will be able to do so many tasks, for example to perform, among other functions, computerized accounting and financial analysis tasks and apply various business methods in public, private and non-profit organizations, you will be processing and analyzing financial and managerial accounting information using appropriate computer applications

Financial Analysis
Financial analysis is the process of evaluating businesses, projects, budgets, and other finance-related transactions to determine their performance and suitability. Typically, financial analysis is used to analyze whether an entity is stable, solvent, liquid, or profitable enough to warrant a monetary investment.
Example: Financial analysis Advice on Customer Margins: After analysing the price structure (see Appendix 1), which includes the calculations for Product Unit Cost Net Price Price to Retailer It shows that different levels of customer margins will lead to different levels of profit.
